This is an unprecedented time in our history, and we appreciate your continued support of our Evo Family as we navigate the nuances of the COVID-19 government mandates.

Zoom Online Classes

Most of our students are already using Zoom for their online classes, so we decided to offer virtual classes through Zoom so that our students can continue to train from home.  This will allow us to instruct, watch, and provide live feedback to our students so that they can continue to improve their technique.

Free Halloween Movie Night. Casper

Movie Night – Casper

Date – Friday October 25th
Time – 7:30-9:15pm

Come join us as we will be hosting a Halloween movie night, Casper here at Evolution on Friday October 25th.   The movie will start at 7:30pm and end around 9:10pm.

Please come a little earlier to get a great spot on the mat to watch.  We will NOT be serving any type of food or dinner,  if you plan on coming or dropping off your child please have them fed before the movie begins.  We will only be serving freshly popped popcorn.  Parents if you plan on dropping off your child that is fine but please be respectful of our time and arrive at 9:00pm for pick up.  We like to go home as well.

Remember to wear comfortable clothes, bring a pillow maybe a blanket, and a water bottle if you get thirsty.  We have fliers on the front counter for you to invite your friends.  Hope to see you all here.

Black Belt Club Summer Event – August 4th 12pm at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center

Attention all Black Belt Club Members our next Black Belt Club event will be at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center.  Please join us on Sunday August 4th at 12pm.  This will be a fun afternoon to enjoy some swimming with your Black Belt Club friends.  Since we could have a large group we all need to arrive earlier so we all can get in easily.  The Aquatic Center has 2 recreation pools, one with a water slide which you must be at least 48″ to ride, and a diving pool.  Check out the video below.

Evolution will cover the cost of the Black Belt Club Member, any parents entering or siblings attending will have to pay for themselves (you have to pay an entry fee even if don’t actually swim).  The cost for kids is $4 and adults is $6.  Your entry fee will allow you to stay at the facility from 12pm-4pm.  We will be there for a bit but you are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish.

You are allowed to bring water bottles but no food, as they sell food there.  They have locker rooms with showers and changing areas.  You can re-enter the aquatic center once you get in, they will stamp your hand.  The provided sitting and relaxing area is first come first serve but you can bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, and possibly pop-up tents)

Closed Labor Day Weekend (Sat-Mon)

Join us Friday December 22nd for our 5th Annual Holiday Potluck and Holiday Movie Night

Another year has come and gone, every year we host a Holiday Pot Luck, join us this Friday December 22nd from 6:00-7:30pm.  We would love for all of our students and members to come, hang out, and bring a little something.  It’s a great way to celebrate the triumphs and successes of 2017.  If you plan on attending please bring enough food to serve 2-3 people.  As a reminder please bring serving utensils for you dish.  There will be a sign up at the front desk to show what everyone is bringing.

You are more than welcome to stay for the movie Elf starring Will Ferrell.  The movie will start at 7:30.  You can just come to the movie if you can’t make it earlier to the pot luck.

This Friday’s 6pm Class will be cancelled due to this event.

Wear Your Costume to Class & Classes Cancelled on Halloween

Every year for the last 5 years we have held an annual tradition where student’s can wear their Halloween costume to class for a little fun and something a bit different.  This year will be no different, the annual Wear your Costume to class day will be Monday October 30th.  Below is the class schedule.  Junior White Belts can come to the 5pm class since we will be closed Tuesday for Halloween.

3:00 – Tiny Tiger (White – Green)
3:30 – Tiny Tiger (Blue – Black)
4:00 – Jrs. (Green and Up)
5:00 – Jrs. (White – Yellow)
5:00 – Tiny Tiger (White – Green)
5:30 – Tiny Tiger (Blue – Black)
6:00 – Jrs. (Green and Blue)
6:00 – Jrs. (Black)

Students are allowed to bring mask & accessories to the class and wear/hold for a group photo at the end of the class.  During the class these items will have to be taken off due to safety.  We are excited to see everyone in their costumes this year.  The photo below is from last year.

Halloween Classes Cancelled.

All Tiny Tiger and Hapkido Jr. Classes will be Cancelled on Tuesday October 31st because of Halloween.  If you plan on trick or treating please be safe and examine the all the candy your child receives before they eat them.
